Here is a list of Presidents who have served the Royals community.

This trophy is presented to the person for their hard work and effort in the administration and running of the Club. The award has been presented every year since the Club’s beginnings in 1949. Named after club legend and Life Member Keith Hawke, this award is given to the clubpersson who bleeds blue daily for Royals.

Bill Lavis was originally an opponent of Royals. He was originally with RMC but came across to Royals after he left the army because he was impressed with the Club. Bill played five-eight in 1st grade. He died prematurely of heart condition. The recipient of this award is an individual who has provided valuable service to the club over an extended period.

This trophy was donated by Blen McInnes who was on the committee and was club secretary for a number of years. Blen also played and later went on to coach at Royals. This Trophy was donated to recognise the most promising junior player who has made progress in senior grades.

Jim Daley donated the Graham Daley Memorial Shield in memory of his son who died of a heart condition at a young age in 1978. At the time Jim was a member of Royals and the Club provided support for Jim and his family.

This trophy is awarded to the player who has scored the most tries during the season.

This award recognises the younger player, who in their first few years at the club, has displayed outstanding effort and enthusiasm, both on and off the field, demonstrating their commitment to the club.

The Ian Buttsworth Trophy was donated by his wife Diedre Buttsworth who now lives in Sydney. Ian was a Committee member for many years and a long time touch judge and referee. The trophy is presented to those who have given up time to do voluntary work that is critical in keeping Royals going.

David Williams was a Royals player who died from injuries he received in 1982. He worked his way through the Junior Falcons to the senior grades. This award is the most prestigious award simply because the players vote for their peers

This is award was donated in 1994 by Mick Houston, and is awarded for dedication to success through off field and on field toughness and commitment.

The Canberra Royals RFC Commitment Trophy is an award that pays recognition to the recipient(s) for their outstanding dedication and commitment to the running of the Club in areas other than administration. This award was formerly named the Kate and Graham Blewitt Award but was re-named in 2011 in memory of John Blewitt, Kate and Graham’s son and former Royals player, who passed away in 2011 after a short illness.
